FLUSHING, New York City—A man on video claimed to be a spy from the Chinese Consulate during a Falun Gong march in Flushing on June 14. The march, which set out to raise awareness about the persecution of Falun Gong, saw around 20 Chinese residents distributing identical flyers which spread hatred against Falun Gong. The flyers used the same false allegations spread by Chinese Communist Party (CCP) controlled media that Falun Gong practitioners obstructed fundraising efforts for Sichuan earthquake victims so as to incite hatred against the practice.

A reporter from New Tang Dynasty Television (NTDTV) captured a video of the man on Main St., Flushing, angrily making the claims directly to the camera. The man, who dons a red shirt in the video also grasps tightly one of the defamatory flyers. The video captures a conversation in Chinese between the reporter and the man:

Man in red shirt: "You know how many spies we have? We're not afraid of you. We are all spies."

Reporter: "You're all spies?"

Man in red shirt: "Yes! Right!"

Reporter: "Including you?"

Man in red shirt: "Yes."

Reporter: "Are you all associated with the Chinese Consulate?"

Man in red shirt: "Yes we are all with the Consulate. Stop filming us, you are worthless."

Reporter: "You're the only one? Who else is with the Consulate?"

Man in red shirt: points around him and says, "We're all with the Consulate."

Another man standing next to him also held up the same defamatory flyer and spoke in agreement.
