San Francisco to be Part of Olympic Torch Relay

For all you human rights activists out there, get your banners ready! BTW Vancouver didn't make the list.

ABC: Apr. 27 - Excerpt: KGO - San Francisco will make history once again as it plays a role in the 2008 Olympics. It is the only U.S. city to be chosen as part of the Olympic torch relay...

The mayor and several other local and Beijing dignitaries wrapped up a press conference about the torch passing this morning. They say it makes sense to come to San Francisco, including the fact that this city had the first and has largest Chinatown in the United States and we are considered a gateway to the Pacific Rim.
