AI: Host Feb. 11 DC Rally Calling on China to End Human Rights Abuses Before the Olympics

Local DC Activists Will Gather Across From White House on February 11

WASHINGTON, Feb. 6 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Amnesty International USA
members and other activists will gather in Lafayette Park at 12:00 p.m. on
Monday, February 11, 2008 to urge Chinese authorities to end human rights
abuses prior to the 2008 Beijing Olympics.

Participants will display signs calling on President Bush to advance
human rights in China as the Olympic Games approach.

Speakers include Amnesty International USA's advocacy director for Asia
T. Kumar and a former Chinese political prisoner.
